Evaluation

Evaluation : How do we know when the work is done well?

There is little precedent for evaluation at the broad community level. Methods for global level performance tracking are currently being developed in academic and professional settings throughout the country. research and development (with input from a broad range of academics and local professionals) in “intermediary” level evaluation methodologies.

As the Community Solutions Project moves forward and effective evaluation methodologies are identified and developed, project participants will employ increasingly sophisticated methods for measuring performance in the context of the project’s current theory of change: Communities need skilled “intermediaries” to solve complex community problems. If “intermediaries” have access to increased knowledge and skill, the community at large will have an increased capacity for sustainable solutions.
