Welcome to the Community Solutions Project

The Community Solutions Project Theory of Change asserts that communities need skilled intermediaries to solve complex community problems. If intermediaries have access to increased knowledge and skill, the community at large will have an increased capacity for sustainable solutions.

How to use this website:

This website has two primary functions. First, it offers people working to address broad-level issues in any community access to models, best practices and evaluation methods for community problem solving.

The second portion of this website connects local Austin/Travis County Intermediaries with up-to-date contacts, data, and resources:

• The Local Issue Area and Calendar sections offer access to current local contacts, active community collaborations for individual issue area, events such as local meetings, data releases, and opportunities for professional development.
• The online Community Discussion Forum enables intermediaries throughout the community to connect, collaborate, share experiences, and cultivate an increased collective capacity to address the social, economic, and environmental problems.
